It is not surprising that rugby players all over the world are taking part in the season. Here are seven Bay of Quinte products who made the grade.

There were many impressive feats that could be found in both the men's and ladies' leagues of the OCAA. Although it's not unusual to see teams named "Jackson" or "Jake", such names might be better kept in the shadows. "George North" (and "George Davidson") were both injured and had to miss Round 2, while "Geoff Farrar” and "Gabe Davidson” stayed home for victory. The Vikings, as well as the Lancers, each won. Their names are still unknown for the other contenders.

But, the OCAA's men's leagues are a different story. Despite losing their last two games, the reigning champs have been shown by the OCAA that the Vikings or Lancers can show the world they aren't confined to Kingston. The scores they have accumulated this season show that they have made significant moves. Considering they're only a few rounds into the competition, they have the chance to nab a top-four finish and claim the elusive top spot.
